Description

The patented DOUBLEDECK® technology

After five years of development, the time has finally come. The revolution in snowboarding. Easy turn initiation, better pop, no canting.

The Turning D is the best double deck for powder days, allowing for smooth turning thanks to its hybrid profile. The flex of the Turning D is softer than that of the Carving D, making it more forgiving.

Who is the Turning D suitable for: Deep snow riders, but also very suitable for beginners due to its enormous turning ability.

Turning D Board Style Overview:

  • Style: All Mountain / Beginner
  • Terrain: Powder, groomers and everything in-between
  • Camber/Profile: The Turning D is a hybrid board with rocker and camber zones. The camber zones are located below the bindings. The rocker zone provides playful agility and lifts the nose and tail, while the camber underfoot provides improved edge hold on hardpack. The nose and tail are in the air when the load is released (single-point contact), allowing the Turning D to spin like a top. When loaded, the board has a three-point contact (nose, center rocker, tail)
  • Shape: True Twin Shape. The Turning D can still be ridden with a setback of 1 cm or up to 4 cm in deep snow. The sidecut is radial.
  • Flex: 5-6 overall. It's important to note that the bow of the double deck and the board are combined. The board itself has a 3-4 flex before the bow is added.

Additional Specs:

  • Construction : Sandwich sidewall
  • Glue: SuperSap
  • Core: Poplar/Beech
  • Fibres: Triax
  • Base: Sintered

1. SUPERSLIDE RAILSYSTEM® (SRS)

Your weight presses down on the “bow.” At each edge change, pressure is released and rebound gives you explosive pop—up to 8 inches of pressure shift toward nose and tail.

2. CONVEX PRESSURE BOW SYSTEM® (CPS)

Mounted with sliding screws at the back and fixed screws up front—this allows microscopic, imperceptible fore-aft movement that self-adjusts edge pressure through every turn.

3. INVERSE CONCAVE BENDING SYSTEM® (ICS)

A hollowed-out, torsion-friendly wooden core that twists up to 45° along its length. Softer, forgiving turns—but with biting edge hold.
